Meet Tammy Matvichuk
Hello!
I’m a Master’s Limited Psychologist – Temporary (TLLP), practicing under the supervision of Dr. Crystal Young, a fully Licensed Psychologist at the Center for Neuropsychology and Behavioral Health. I am also a Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) and hold state certification as a school psychologist.
After completing my undergraduate studies at Eastern Michigan University, I earned my Master’s and Education Specialist degrees in School Psychology from the University of Toledo. I worked as a school psychologist for seven years before transitioning into private practice and completing additional specialized training with Dr. Young.
My clinical work focuses on supporting children and teens with a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), depression, developmental delays, intellectual disabilities, and learning disabilities. I believe in the importance of collaborating with families, educators, physicians, therapists, and other professionals. I am well-versed in school systems and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and can help advocate for your child’s needs. I also offer school-based observations and consultations to develop effective, evidence-based interventions.
At Summit Psychological Assessments and Services, I am committed to providing comprehensive psychological evaluations, therapy, and consultative services tailored to each child’s unique strengths and challenges.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. Travel and adventure are important parts of my life. Recently, my fiancé and I summited Mount Kilimanjaro which was an unforgettable experience that helped inspire the name Summit Psychological Assessments and Services. That journey reminded me that while there are challenges, every step counts, and with the right supports in place, the path becomes more manageable. This belief lies at the heart of my work: to support children and families as they navigate their own unique journeys.
